The importance of post-treatment aftercare

Every aesthetic treatment comes with its own set of risks and potential complications. During your initial consultations with our medical team, we will inform you of these risks and side effects and provide detailed information to maximise recovery. Thorough post-treatment aftercare reduces side effects and minimises discomfort of your chosen procedure.

Aftercare advice for injectable treatments

Undergoing any injectable treatment results in short-term side effects such as bruising, redness, swelling and discomfort, which resolve on their own over time.

Following your initial consultations, our team will provide you with post-treatment aftercare instructions, such as applying a cold compress to the treated area to minimise swelling and bruising, refraining from rubbing, massaging or touching the treated area and avoiding strenuous exercise and hot showers for at least 24 hours to reduce the severity of expected side effects. Our team will also encourage you to wait at least two weeks before resuming any other facial treatment, including lasers, microneedling and skin peels that may disrupt recovery and results.
