The Excel V is a fast way to treat a broad range of vascular lesions from tiny spider veins to deep blue reticular veins quickly.    

Many skin conditions manifest in the form of broken or abnormal blood vessels in the skin, such is the case with rosacea, in which the facial blood vessels dilate excessively causing redness and flushing. Excel V treats these conditions by administering a unique high power green laser that is absorbed by the abnormal blood vessels in the skin.  The laser heats the abnormal vessels until they are removed with the result being the patient’s natural skin tone and colour are restored. In the case of leg veins and facial vessels the Laser delivers pulses of light energy which causes the blood within the vein to coagulate, eventually destroying the vessel which is later reabsorbed by the body. Blood flow is then redirected to veins deeper below the skin surface where it should be.

Laser treatment may feel similar to a quick rubber band snapping against the skin. During laser a cooled treatment tip will be in contact with the skin to protect and provide additional comfort to the areas being treated with results typically seen after 1 to 3 sessions.
