CIT (Collagen Induction Therapy) by Microneedling multi-level RF

Microneedling creates microchannels at varying depths that stimulate an individual’s own body to produce new collagen and elastin. These microchannels stay open for 4-6 hours, which also allow for optimal penetration of topical products to enhance your treatment results. Topical anaesthesia is applied to minimise discomfort during your appointment.

WHM (Wound Healing Mechanisms) by multi-level RF energy

Radiofrequency energy is delivered into the skin through the needles of the Vivace device. The thermal energy is minimally invasive and facilitates your body’s natural wound healing process. This enhances the remodelling of collagen, elastin and your skin's laxity. You will see a tightening effect and the reduction of scarring, as well as overall improved skin texture and tone.

LED (Light Emitting Diode)

The Vivace system is fitted with LED that pulses light to activate skin cells to increase collagen production and moisture levels in the skin, and also to improve skin tone and texture. Your practitioner will select either Red LED to enhance collagen stimulation, or Blue LED to treat acne-prone skin.

Treatment time is around 45 minutes, with an additional 30 minutes for the topical anaesthetic application. After the numbing cream has been applied and on the skin for 30 minutes your treatment will begin. Light pressure will be felt as the device is moved across the face. FAQ’S

  • You will start to see results after several weeks as the skin repairs gradually. Results will show optimally at around the three month mark as your collagen remodelling increases over time. After your initial course of treatments, we would recommend yearly maintenance of 1-2 sessions to maintain your results.

  • The actual treatment takes around 45 minutes, with an additional 30-45 minutes needed for the application of topical numbing cream. A consultation should be done prior to commencing treatment.

  • The microchannels in the skin created during treatment stay open for 4-6 hours and so we recommend avoiding exercise during this period. Some patients experience mild-moderate redness, mild swelling, and minimal skin sensitivity after RF Needling that will usually subside in the hours following your session, sometimes lasting up to a day or two. You can wear makeup the following day, with mineral makeup being the preferred option. It is important to use gentle and hydrating skincare products post-treatment, as well as Broad Spectrum SPF daily.

  • We recommend a series of three treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart for optimal results. Of course, depending on your skin and desired results your practitioner at Studio Aesthetica will tailor a treatment plan to you. The collagen synthesis process will increase over time and with more sessions.

  • You can absolutely still maintain your injectables in conjunction with Vivace RF Needling. We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks before and after for Antiwrinkle, and 4 weeks before or after for Dermal Filler.

  • Topical anaesthetic is applied to the skin 30 minutes before your treatment. The numbing applied will increase your comfort levels: we find our patients describe treatment as comfortable to virtually pain-free. During your treatment you will experience some light pressure to the treatment area.

  • Single Session $650

  • It is recommended to do the following prior to having an RF Microneedling treatment:

    1. Avoid sun exposure for 2-3 weeks prior

    1. Do not have any chemical peels or exfoliating treatments for 4 weeks prior

    2. Do not use any topical AHA, BHA or Retinol products for at least 1 week prior

    3. Do not use any topical prescription strength Retinol products such as Tretinoin/Retin-A for 2 weeks prior

    4. Avoid alcohol and smoking the day of your treatment

    5. Avoid hair removal in the treatment area such as waxing or depilatories for 2 weeks prior

    6. Avoid the use of anti-inflammatory medications for 1 week prior
