Professional Chemical Peels
PCA Professional Chemical Peels are medical-grade resurfacing treatments that work at a cellular level to improve skin tone, clarity, and texture. Whether your skin concern is pigmentation, congestion, sensitivity, or accumulated sun damage, our clinicians will select the most appropriate peel formulation for your skin type, condition, and goals.
At Studio Aesthetica, our professional peels are performed by our team of doctors, nurses, and dermal therapists, tailored to your skin and designed to integrate seamlessly into your broader treatment plan.
Bright & Even Peel
Mild sun damage · Uneven skin tone · Congestion · Acne
A gentle yet effective brightening and resurfacing peel formulated with Mandelic Acid, Lactic Acid, and antioxidant-rich botanical extracts. The Bright & Even Peel improves the appearance of mild sun damage, congestion, and acne-related discolouration across all Fitzpatrick skin types, including those with sensitivity.
Its multi-acid formulation encourages cell turnover and promotes a more even, luminous complexion without aggressive downtime.
Ideal for: Uneven skin tone, mild sun damage, congestion, breakout-prone skin, all Fitzpatrick types.
No-Peel Peel
No downtime · All skin types and conditions
For those who want the benefits of a professional resurfacing treatment with no visible peeling and no recovery time, the No-Peel Peel delivers gentle exfoliation and renewal that works beneath the surface. Suitable for all skin types and conditions, this treatment is a practical option for busy schedules, event preparation, or ongoing maintenance.
Visible improvement is noticeable immediately, with cumulative improvement achieved through a course of treatments.
Ideal for: All skin types and conditions, first-time peel patients, event preparation, maintenance programmes with no downtime.
Enzymatic Treatment
Sensitive skin · Barrier-impaired skin · Rosacea · Peel-naïve patients
Our gentlest entry-point into professional chemical exfoliation. The Enzymatic Treatment uses naturally derived enzymes — rather than acids — to delicately dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells, encouraging surface renewal without disrupting the skin’s barrier.
This is the recommended starting point for patients who have never had a professional peel, those with compromised barrier function, rosacea, or reactive skin types. It calms and clarifies while building skin resilience over time.
Ideal for: First-time peel patients, sensitive or reactive skin, barrier-impaired skin, rosacea.
Pumpkin Peel
Thickened or textured skin · Congestion · Add-on treatment
The Pumpkin Peel combines exfoliating pumpkin enzymes and salicylic acid to address thick, resilient, or keratinised skin. It draws out impurities, clears congested pores, and prepares the skin for deeper penetration of subsequent treatments.
This peel is particularly effective when used as a preparatory step, applied immediately before another peel or treatment in the same session, to maximise results for skin that is thick, rough in texture, or heavily congested.
Ideal for: Textured or thickened skin, congestion, and acne. Best used as a pre-treatment add-on ahead of the Bright & Even or Pigment Correct peels.
Pigment Correct
Pigmentation · Sun damage · Aged and dull skin
A targeted corrective peel designed to address all forms of visible hyperpigmentation, including sun damage, age-related discolouration, and post-inflammatory pigmentation. Utilising PCA SKIN’s Multi-Acid Synergistic Technology (MAST), the Pigment Correct combines exfoliating and brightening actives at optimised concentrations for efficacy with reduced irritation.
Results improve progressively with a course of treatments and are enhanced with daily broad-spectrum sun protection.
Ideal for: Sun damage, age spots, uneven tone, post-inflammatory pigmentation, dull or aged complexions.

FAQ’S
-
Yes. All new patients receive a skin assessment prior to treatment. This allows your clinician to understand your skin history, current condition, and goals before selecting the right peel formulation and determining whether a patch test is appropriate.
-
This depends on your skin concern and the peel selected. Visible improvement is often noticeable after a single session. For concerns such as pigmentation, congestion, or textural irregularity, a course of treatments, typically every two to four weeks, delivers the most sustained results. Your clinician will recommend a treatment plan tailored to your skin.
-
The Enzymatic Treatment or No-Peel Peel are both well-suited to first-time patients. They are gentle, have no visible peeling, and allow your clinician to assess how your skin responds before progressing to more active formulations. For those with sensitive skin or rosacea, we typically recommend starting with the Enzymatic Treatment.
-
Yes. Professional peels can be incorporated as Step 1 of the Signature Studio Glow or Signature Studio Brightening laser facial treatments, replacing the standard exfoliation stage with a clinician-selected peel tailored to your skin. This can be arranged at the time of booking or discussed with your clinician on the day.
-
This depends on the peel. The No-Peel Peel and Enzymatic Treatment have no downtime, you can return to your day immediately after treatment. The Bright & Even and Pigment Correct peels may result in mild redness or light flaking in the days following treatment. Your clinician will advise on what to expect based on the specific peel performed.
-
Not always. Several formulations in our PCA Professional range are designed to resurface the skin without visible shedding, including the No-Peel Peel and Enzymatic Treatment. For more active formulations such as the Bright & Even or Pigment Correct peels, you may notice subtle flaking or dryness in the days following treatment, which is a normal part of the renewal process.
-
For the 24–48 hours following your treatment, your clinician will advise you to:
• Apply broad-spectrum SPF daily — this is essential, as treated skin is more susceptible to UV damage
• Avoid direct sun exposure where possible
• Avoid active skincare ingredients such as retinol, exfoliating acids, and vitamin C until the skin has settled
• Avoid excessive heat, including saunas and intense exercise
• Keep the skin hydrated with a gentle, barrier-supporting moisturiser
-
Yes. The Bright & Even Peel and Pumpkin Peel are both well-suited to congested and acne-prone skin. Professional peels can help to clear pore congestion, reduce surface bacteria, and improve overall skin clarity. For active or persistent acne, your clinician may recommend combining peels with other in-clinic treatments or a targeted skincare programme.
