Dermal fillers are a natural biodegradable gel containing hyaluronic acid, injected beneath the skin to add fullness. Designed to treat age related changes such as fat loss and the deterioration of collagen and elastin, dermal fillers can ‘lift’ and plump the skin, smooth lines and restore volume.
Dermal fillers are a non-surgical and minimally invasive procedure enhancing facial structures diminished as a normal part of the aging process.

FAQ’S
-
Dermal filler is designed to provide support for the underlying dermal structures and to replace the hyaluronic acid we lose as part of the ageing process. It does this by replacing the lost volume in hollow areas and thus restoring youthful contours. This creates a smoother and seamless appearance.
-
Depending on what is being treated and how many areas, the process can be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
-
At your appointment, you will have an in-depth consultation with one of our practitioners who will assess your face and come up with a treatment plan best suited to meet your aesthetic goals.
We will take some ‘before’ photos, clean the area to be treated and apply a local anaesthetic cream to make the treatment more comfortable, where necessary.
A small cannula or needle will be used to inject small amounts of fillers underneath your skin. This may cause some mild discomfort; however, this is tolerated well in most patients.
Some swelling, bruising and tenderness may occur immediately after your treatment.
-
This depends on the area being treated and the amount of product being used.
Some areas such as the lips may only require 1ml per treatment where as large treatment areas such as the jawline or liquid facelifts may start from 3ml upwards.
-
You may experience some swelling, bruising, tenderness and redness. These side effects are generally mild and will self-resolve over the next few days. Sometimes it can take up to two weeks for the swelling to go down completely. Injection points may also be visible for a few hours after your procedure.

-
Prices start from $650 per mL depending on the type of filler being injected, the amount used to create the desired effect and the area being treated.
Advanced treatment areas will incur an additional charge.
