Introducing Studio Aesthetica’s newest offering in our energy-based devices, the Cutera Excel V. This skin treatment incorporates laser technology to revitalise the skin with capability to treat more than 20 different aesthetic and dermatologic skin concerns. Keep reading to see if this treatment is suitable for you.

What is the Excel V Laser?

The Excel V Laser Genesis uses the most effective vascular laser technology. This energy-based device uses a two-wavelength system (532nm and 1064nm) to allow your health practitioner to treat a wide variety of skin conditions. With multiple handpieces, treatments are versatile and can be customised to your unique skin concerns.

How does the Excel V Laser work?

The device works by emitting pulses of bright green light energy, targeting abnormal blood vessels and pigmented skin. The laser targets abnormal veins by safely causing the vein walls to collapse and then seal shut, so over time, the vessels are no longer visible. The laser targets pigmentation by heating up and breaking down the concentrated pigment in brown spots, then the body naturally filters away the treatment pigment, leaving the skin clearer.
